Information Technology (IT) is the only sector gives the flexibility to work behind a computer window. It is used in all sectors, whether it is banking sector, post office, railways, space research, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, media or business outsourcing IT is an essential part of it.
In today’s world we feel very comfortable to be loged in and getting managed under one roof / cloud facility and we don’t care about who is the face behind the cloud system. But when it comes to a roof where we can see the face we become very choosy, we think of looks, presentation, etcs…. Which in turn becomes a mandatory rule for job applicants and when it comes to a person “ TRANSGENDER” without giving it a second thought we show our hesitation to communicate. We don’t consider them human beings and our thinking leads them to end up in roads and then we are the one show our sympathy and make a statement “why do they do so,? Can’t they get educated and get a job?”
But Information Technology has the opportunity for Transgender to earn their living. Information Technology is a vast sector and growing every day by creating enormous opportunities. COVID 19 has taught us that IT can survive even if we are doing work from home and this kind of opportunities are a blessing for them whom we hesitate to communicate. They can make information technology as their livelihood and can earn good to feed themselves and their nearest and dearest ones, they can gain a better life and when we are logged in and who is managing the cloud isn’t our concern, for the employers it’s easy to appoint them and give them the opportunity to show their skills and contribute in the country’s success.
Every human being has the right to work, and we are no one to take it from them whether they are She, He or Others. We should show our respect to them and make they utilize their skills as we are all together can only make the country grow. Every person and every contribution matters in the path to success.
